3 Ways to Wear Stripes

Stripes are an all time favourite and wearing them is fun.
Here are a few ways you can wear stripes beautifully.

1. Match it with a jacket/coat/shrug.
An extra layer adds more substance to the look. Make sure the jacket you choose doesn't have stripes. Too much stripe-stripe deteriorates the elegance of the look.

If you are a girly kind of a person this sort of a coat will suit you very well. Fur will suit your personality.

If you want a rather casual yet elegant look, go for this sort of a thing.

A jacket, a bold coloured scarf and a brown bag is the perfect casual wear. Not too light, not too worked up.

If you do not have a pattern-less coat/jacket, go for something which has minute designs, which does not match with stripes. Something like this. And match it with accessories.

2. The formal look.
There's something about stripes that gives away a sense of formality, only its an art to use it rightfully.
This sort of a look is very much suitable for formal settings. Probably for work or a meeting. Adding a neckpiece along with a weather coat gives the look richness.

If you own a peplum top, great! Wear it with a plain black pencil skirt. You might as well accessorise the top with a red belt and a statement neck piece.
3. Accessorise it

The best way to enhance the look of anything you wear is by adding suitable accessories to it.

Scarves are really cool and comfortable accessories. Plus, any sort of a scarf- printed or plain would make your wear look better.

Statement necklaces are everywhere and there is no reason why they won't go with stripes. In fact, they modify the look to a degree of maturity and boldness.

Head gear and stripes are like best friends,  if you don't wish to wear any other accessories,  just wear a hat.
